Oregano essential oil is derived by steam distillation method of perennial herb that grows up to about 32 inches in height. The herb has a straight stem covered in hair. The leaves of this herb are dark green and oval in shape. The oregano herb also have a profusion of pink flowers clustered in heads and at the top of the branches. Oregano essential oil has carvacol and thymol content and therefore it is considered as "nature's cure all"
