Rosewood is now one of the endangered species as per the government of Brazil and is a small evergreen tree. It consists of a reddish bark and heartwood. Rosewood requires tropical climates for a proper growth and has yellow flowers. It is most commonly found at Brazil and Peru. Rosewood oil is quite often used as a base when combined with other oils. Its aroma is warm, spicy and woody.
