Tangerine Oil
The Tangerine plant is native to China, but is now mainly grown in United States and Sicily in Italy. Its tree is very similar to that of Mandarin. Tangerine essential oil is extracted from Citrus reticulate.The main chemical present in tangerine oil are a-thujone, camphene, sabinene, a-pinene, b-pinene, myrcene, y-terpinolene, linalool, citronellal, terpineol-4-ol, nerol and geranial.

Precautions: | Just like any other essential oil in citrus family, Tangerine essential oil can also be phototoxic. Hence, skin should not be exposed to sunlight immediately after applying the oil. Oil should be well diluted before use. |
