Yarrow essential oil is extracted by steam distillation method from the flowers of a perennial herb that has simple stem. The herb can grow up to three feet in height. It posses fern-like feathery leaves and bears numerous pink and white, dense flower heads. This herb is also known as mil foil due to its feathery appearance.
